Location: Perth, Western Australia (connecting the Perth Central Train Station & Art Gallery)
Description:
Inspired by Sou Fujimoto's works - the Serpentine Pavilion in London and Many Small Cubes installation in Paris, this new project (named "The Green Box") is hoped to create a greener and better look for the central area of Perth.
By incorporating the box frames with glass in different colours to recreate the shape of a Western Australian eucalyptus tree – a symbol of the state, the bridge will provide pedestrians a feeling of being under the shade of trees, calm and unique for a short walk.
